Dame Wendy Hiller DBE was an English film and stage actress. She is also known for her role as Margaret Harris in the 1987 film Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel.

Behind the scenesEdit

  • One of the first scenes shot with Wendy in Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel was the picnic scene. She had recently had a surgery and while climbing into the buggy for the scene, her hip was displaced. Everyone became confused and nervous, thinking she had a heart attack. When Sullivan walked over, she said, "Get me a whiskey, dear boy".
