Description[]
One summer following Miss Lavendar and Stephen Irving's wedding, Anne Shirley and Diana Barry make a number of visits to Grafton, where they become acquainted with its inhabitants. While there, Miss Emily Leith, an old maiden aunt of the Leith family, takes a particular shine to Anne. Yet, it is not until after Miss Emily's lonely death, through the legacy of a little brown book, that Anne understands why.
