Portrayal

• Vivian Reis portrayed Sarah Spencer in Anne of Green Gables (1985) and Road to Avonlea (1990–1996). She also played Aunt Irene in Lantern Hill (1990), another film based on L.M. Montgomery's works.
• Vivian suffers from vertigo and was a bit nervous about the scene when Mrs. Spencer introduces Anne at the White Sands Benefit Concert
