Harmon Andrews is the husband of Mrs. Andrews, the father of Prissy, Billy and Jane Andrews, and a wealthy resident of Avonlea.

Etymology

Harmon is derived from the Germanic name Herman, which means army man. Andrews means son of Andrew.
