John Wamsley is a Canadian student and actor who portrayed Fred Wright in Season 2 of Green Gables Fables (2014–2016). Wamsley is also the composer and writer of one episode.

- On May 29, 2015, it was announced that John would join the cast and play Fred Wright in Season 2 of Green Gables Fables.
