Isolde "Izzy" Pettibone is the daughter of Clive and Jessica Pettibone, the younger sister of Arthur and Morgan, and the stepdaughter of Muriel Pettibone.

Trivia

• The 2012 version of the official Road to Avonlea website described Isolde “Izzy” Pettibone as the only daughter of Clive and Jessica Pettibone. She has two older brothers, Arthur and Morgan. While still very young, Izzy had aspirations to be the first female General in the British Army. This "tomboy" attitude was well earned, and Izzy was often able to beat the Avonlea boys at sports, and during one incident, punched Felix King in the nose. Her "tomboy" appearance was always a topic of conversation amongst her friends and family. As she got older, she became interested in women’s fashion, but she was too embarrassed to ask her father for even a simple thing, like a dress. After Izzy was trying on a dress Olivia made for Cecily, Olivia was able to convince Clive to get one for Izzy.
  
  In 1909, during the bachelor auction, Izzy bid on Felix, but was outbid by Janet King. However, she was invited for dinner later that night by Alec King. Izzy and Felix became friends very quickly and even became partners with their fox farm business. Izzy’s father Clive remarried that same year, and his new bride, Muriel Stacey. Izzy had trouble accepting Muriel as her new stepmother. However, Izzy grew to accept Muriel, and by 1914 the Pettibone family had relocated in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
