Gertie Pye was the older sister of Josie Pye and a member of the Avonlea Village Improvement Society.

Early lifeEdit

Gertie was born in Avonlea to Mr. and Mrs. Pye sometimes during early 1860s, probably in 1863 or 1864 (she was older than Anne and Diana who were born in early 1865).
