Diana Barry is the daughter of Mrs. Barry, the best friend of Anne Shirley and a friend and classmate of Gilbert Blythe, Felix King and Felicity King.

Portrayal

• Emily Hampshire provided the voices of Diana and Amy in Anne of Green Gables: The Animated Series (2000–2001). She debuts in "Carrots!", the first episode of the series.
• Hampshire was replaced by Rebecca Peters in the 2005 video film Anne: Journey to Green Gables.

Trivia

• The Annetoon website describes her as, Diana is Anne’s best friend and the two girls have been attached at the hip since the moment they met. She is a dark-haired girl with a sunny personality. Diana often finds herself dragged into Anne’s escapades like the good, true friend she is. After all, that’s what “kindred spirits” are for, isn’t it?
