Quotes[]

Behind the scenes[]

References

  • Stuart owns a copy of Peter Pan by Scottish novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie. The titular character was originally the hero of a 1904 stage play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up, which Barrie lated adapted into a novel Peter and Wendy, published in 1911. As it is later revealed in "The Best Partner", the series takes place in the early 1900s, not later than 1905. Therefore it is impossible for both Anne and Marilla to be familiar with the novel and for Stuart to actually own it.

Distribution[]

This episode was released as part of the DVD box set Volumes 4-6, along with "A Bully by the Horns", "Chores Eclipsed", "The Stray", "The Best Partner", and "A Question of Rules".
