Gilbert Blythe along with Anne attended Queen's and Redmond College, taught in White Sands and studied at medical school in Kingsport for three years. He was engaged to Anne.
Jane Andrews attended Queen's Academy, taught in Newbridge and later in Avonlea. She went to the west and met Mr. Inglis. They married and visited Europe.
Ruby Gillis attended Queen's and taught in Carmody. She fell in love with Herb Spencer and planned to marry him. However, she died.
